There are some days when calories just shouldn’t count.
It’s one o’clock on the nose, both children are sleeping (for now), and the house is quiet. I decide it’s the perfect moment to open a bottle of bubbly, turn on some music, and do a little french baking. I’ve always wanted to make a classic french Clafoutis.
Here’s the thing. This has never been a blog where I word vomit. No need. I like to make it fast and get right to it. The best part about this recipe? It’s very fancy but very easy! An impressive addition to breakfast, brunch, or even for an afternoon moment to yourself.
A Classic Strawberry Clafoutis
What you need:
What you do:
Preheat oven to 360 degrees.
Prepare the batter. In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, and salt. Then make a well.
Break the eggs, stir, and slowly mix in warm milk (I used skim).
Grease the ramekins and pack your fruit at the bottom.
Pour batter over the fruit and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Once done, sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
It’s as simple as that! I love to bring you recipes that might seem intimidating but don’t have to be. I hope you enjoyed this one! Don’t forget to add some champs to this one!
