Fabulously French

Hey All! Happy Monday!

Adjustments.jpeg

There’s nothing like an outfit that just works. The one thing that’s very French is keeping things simple. They don’t like to fuss. This look is great for transitioning into Spring, with very little fuss. As a very busy Mom of two outfits like these are imperative for me. Don’t get me wrong I unlike the French don’t mind a little fussing for a date night. But for day to day this is a great ensemble.

Let’s break it down…

  1. Neckerchief: Always a great finishing touch on an outfit. I have several to just throw on to look polished.

  2. Longline Blazer: Literally will go with everything! Especially if it’s a neutral color.

  3. Bodysuit: Everyone should have a stripped bodysuit in their closet. It adds a little interest without pulling the eye too much.

  4. Gloves: Not just for Winter! Spring has some cold mornings and evenings and nothing is more chic than a glove to really pull your look together

5. Culottes: The word itself is French! They are perfect for wearing something other then jeans and also for showing off a good shoe! Which you guys know I’m all about the shoes!

6. Booties: They are the must have Spring shoe. Once again the neutral color is a good option since it will go with so much. In this case they match the blazer.

Like I said when an outfit just works so seamlessly it’s worth the share. There are also so many different versions of this very French vibe. Have fun with it and know you can throw this together very fast and still look put together.

Have a wonderful week! I hope this Monday is good to you!

Bringing You Both

Adjustments.jpeg

On my insta stories last week I asked you what you wanted more of here. I wanted to know if you wanted to see more of my daily outfits or styling tips and tricks. I had a lot of you inbox me for both. Today I am bringing you both! I’ve done many posts throughout the years about styling tips but here is my full proof list of style tips that I absolutely swear by. Along with an “ootd”.

I figured what a perfect time to do an old fashioned mirror selfie? Can’t wait to share even more “ootd’s” with you! Thank you for your interest!

I’ve said it once and I’ll keep saying it for anyone who needs to hear it…

You have to like you, if you don’t like you then no one else will either.

Enjoy fashion, and jewelry and all things girly but always be true to yourself and your style. You’ll always feel and be pretty that way.

Here’s to a new week and a fresh start. Enjoy the day. I hope there’s come ice cold Prosecco (or whatever you drink) waiting for you at the end of it.

Starting At The Bottom

Hello, Friends! Thanks for stopping by!

Now that things are opening up and we are able to like, go places, it’s so important to have a no fail outfit. A lot of the fashion guru’s have said “have a uniform” as a major style tip. Think Anna Wintour in her dresses and sunglasses. It’s a similar silhouette. I’m not saying only wear this but it’s a great thing to have an outfit combination that you feel good in and can put it together in minutes.

For me, this outfit is a bodysuit and fun pants. I shop and buy a lot of things but my favorite is buying pants! I love a great print, bright color, or even a classic black cigarette pant. My favorite thing about printed pants is the number of different outfits you’re able to make. I build most of my outfits around the bottoms. I always start at the bottom and work around it, no matter what the piece is. I guess you could say it’s my outfit building process.

This is just what works for me, so head to your closet and see what pieces that you gravitate towards. Create your own uniform for when you need a quick outfit or just want to feel your best.

Be careful out there…I don’t trust a tuesday…
